My flower garden has gotten out of control. Weeds and grass have taken over.?

Grass in the yard got very tall due to my illness has prevented me from trimming and weeding. The grass in the yard went to seed and all the seeds fell in my garden and that has caused grass to grow in my flowers. I have many wonderful plants and don't want to damage them by digging them up. Also, because of the plants, I can't spray with a grass and weed killer. Another problem, there are fireant hills in many areas of the flower beds...please help with ideas.

Answers:
